Our client is on the hunt for a Head of Business Intelligence, an indispensable role that blends analytical prowess with strategic acumen.   • Spearhead the identification, tracking, and analysis of key risks affecting the underwriting landscape.
  • Architect and refine the catastrophe model, becoming the beacon for predictive insights.
  • Conduct and oversee rigorous Probable Maximum Loss studies, setting new industry benchmarks.
  • Forge robust risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Elevate risk analytics, transforming data into actionable intelligence for business-wide initiatives.
  • Champion the collection and management of data, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of information systems.
  • Engage in business-focused collaboration to foster a culture of innovation and shared success.
  • Contribute decisively to the strategic planning and execution, driving the company's vision and long-term objectives.
  • Lead and inspire your team, cultivating a high-performance culture that aligns with organizational values and goals.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Econometrics.
  • Preference for candidates with a CERA qualification or similar.
  • A proven track record of 3 to 6 years in risk or actuarial roles, ideally within the insurance sector.
  • A visionary approach to business intelligence, with a knack for identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and development, both personal and professional.
