Our client, a boutique construction and project management consultancy, seeks to employ a mid-career level Professional Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team in the heart of Cape Town.Please note that we do require a professionally registered (SACQSP, RICS, etc) and have a BSc degree in Quantity Surveying, with preference given to those currently resident in Cape TownKEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION

You must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company.
You will have completed a BSc degree in Quantity Surveying, coupled with professional registration and 3-5 years experience in residential and commercial building projects
You will have a strong and proven background in cost management, estimation, scheduling and tender compilation.
You will have a strong understanding of construction materials, contracts and legal framework specifically surrounding building projects.
Software proficiency in WinQS or CCS Candy is essential
You must have a valid drivers licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
