This live-in role offers a salary of R10,000 per month plus accommodation and meals.DescriptionOur client, a prestigious five-star safari lodge, is looking for a dynamic Guest Service Host to join their hospitality team. This role combines front-of-house, wine service, and bar responsibilities, making it an exciting opportunity for a well-rounded hospitality professional.As Guest Service Host, you will play a key role in creating memorable dining and lodge experiences. Responsibilities will include welcoming and hosting guests, providing professional wine and beverage service, managing water service and table presentation, and assisting with bar operations. You will also be responsible for maintaining beverage stock, ensuring service areas are immaculate, and supporting the wider lodge team in delivering seamless five-star hospitality.The ideal candidate will be professional, guest-focused, and eager to contribute across multiple service areas. A passion for wine, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a luxury lodge environment are essential.
  • Deliver exceptional front-of-house service during meals and guest interactions
  • Provide professional wine service and beverage recommendations
  • Assist with bar operations, including mixing and serving drinks
  • Ensure water and table service is of the highest standard
  • Maintain beverage stock and service equipment
  • Support colleagues in delivering a world-class guest experience
Package:
  • Salary: R10,000 per month

Minimum Requirements
  • 1–2 years’ experience in hospitality service (FOH, wine, or bar)
  • Formal wine or hospitality training advantageous (WSET, mixology, etc.)
  • Excellent guest relations and communication skills
  • Professional, well-presented, and adaptable
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, luxury environment
