A top-tier FMCG manufacturing facility in Durbanville, Western Cape is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead their engineering team and ensure the seamless operation of all plant equipment and utilities. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional with a GCC who thrives in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.Duties & ResponsibilitiesOversee the maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, and utilities systems within the facilityLead, mentor, and coordinate a team of artisans and technicians to drive uptime and productivityImplement preventative maintenance schedules and reduce equipment downtimeEnsure compliance with statutory regulations and uphold SHEQ standardsManage engineering budgets, spares, and contractor servicesDrive continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance and production supportMinimum RequirementsGCC Factories (essential)Recognised Trade Certificate (Millwright or Electrician preferred)Relevant tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringMinimum 5 years' experience in a Maintenance Management roleStrong background in high-volume FMCG or manufacturing environmentsSolid leadership, problem-solving, and planning capabilitiesReady to take the lead at one of SA's top manufacturing facilities?RPO Recruitment can help you secure your next opportunity.
