Job Description :An exciting opportunity exists for a results-driven Sales Representative to join our Industrial & Construction Equipment division in Port Elizabeth. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional with strong technical knowledge and a passion for building long-term client relationships within the forklift, construction, mining, and agriculture sectors.Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive new and used forklift and equipment sales (diesel & electric)
  • Manage the short-term rental fleet planning and sales
  • Identify and convert new sales opportunities through cold calling and client visits
  • Develop tailored presentations, proposals, and contracts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients
  • Manage all sales documentation and CRM updates
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth delivery and post-sale support
  • Participate in trade shows, marketing events, and promotional activities
  • Track sales activity, maintain pipeline reports, and achieve defined targets
Requirements
  • Matric with a post-matric qualification in Sales, Marketing, or a Technical field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in external sales with exposure to forklifts, lift trucks, or industrial equipment
  • Experience in short-term rental fleet management
  • Sound technical understanding of diesel and electrical forklifts
  • Familiarity with Autoline and CRM systems (advantageous)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Proven cold calling and closing skills
  • Driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region
