This role supports the HR Manager with end-to-end HR administration to keep people operations accurate, compliant, and running smoothly. You'll manage time and attendance, payroll inputs, records, and training coordination while assisting with recruitment and employee relations logistics.Key ResponsibilitiesProactively compile daily time and attendance reports for managers and resolve discrepanciesCompile monthly timesheets and late reportsMaintain filing and digital records of all employment documentation, including scanning and archivingOnboard new employees on Sage Payroll and support payroll administration tasksTrack termination dates for limited-duration contracts (LDC)Arrange annual and ad-hoc employee medical assessmentsCoordinate recruitment for unskilled to junior management rolesSupport all aspects of skills development and training administrationUpdate the organisational organogram monthlyAssist with scheduling and logistics for disciplinary hearingsRespond to ad-hoc HR queries in line with department standardsAssist with drafting job descriptions and KPIsCreate standard operating procedures (SOPs) where needed and participate in annual policy/SOP reviewsReport injuries on duty (IOD) to the Department of Labour and maintain related recordsAbout YouPost-matric qualification in Human Resources2+ years experience in an HR department with strong administrative accuracyComputer literate with confident MS Office skills; Sage Payroll exposure advantageousFamiliarity with time and attendance, payroll inputs, and HR record-keepingOrganised, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information with discretionClear communicator who can partner with line managers and staff at all levelsProactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentAble to work on-site in Bellville South and meet monthly reporting deadlines
