This live-in role offers a unique opportunity to be part of an intimate 8-room property where personalised guest service and attention to detail are at the heart of the operation. Competitive salary from R8,000 negotiable depending on experience, with accommodation, meals, and laundry included.DescriptionAs the Boutique Hotel Manager, you will take a hands-on role across all departments, working closely with the owners to ensure the smooth running of daily operations. You will primarily manage the front desk and guest relations while stepping in to assist with housekeeping, kitchen coordination, and reservations as needed. This position requires a strong all-rounder with excellent interpersonal skills who thrives in a smaller, personalised hospitality environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations across reception, housekeeping, kitchen, and guest services.
  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience through professional and friendly interaction.
  • Manage reservations, including email correspondence (SEMPER knowledge advantageous).
  • Lead, motivate, and manage staff effectively.
  • Oversee stock control, housekeeping standards, and kitchen operations.
  • Support the owners with organisational and administrative duties.
Package:
  • Negotiable salary from R8,000 depending on experience.
  • En-suite live-in accommodation, meals, and laundry provided.
  • Immediate start available.
Minimum Requirements
  • Previous hotel or lodge management experience essential.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills; 100% fluency in English required.
  • Valid driver’s licence (own vehicle advantageous).
  • Professional, well-presented, and a team player with a sense of humour.
  • Willingness to live on-site and work flexibly across departments.
