Location: Gauteng
Contract Term: 1 May 2024 - 31 December 2026ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
· Very strong conceptual and methodical skills
· Solid knowledge in software engineering with a focus on cloud architectures
· Solid knowledge of JAVA, Linux, AWS and relational databases
· Solid knowledge of AWS technologies: network & security groups, cross account communication, ECS, Fargate, RDS, load balancers, Lambda
· In depth knowledge of X.509 certificates and trust chains
OTHER SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to work interdependently as well as independently and submit deliverables on time and with excellent quality
· Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) with both technical and non-technical colleagues
· Strong ability to understand and interpret business needs and requirements with an aptitude to move concepts through to proposal and successful implementation
· Strong presentation skills
· Problem solving capabilities
· Agile mindset and know-how (of agile processes and principles)
· German language skills will be advantageous
WHICH QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED FOR THE ROLE?
· Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or similar degree
· 10+ years’ experience in IT industry
· 4+ years’ experience as IT requirements engineer/business analyst
· Experience in the automotive industry advantageousWHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES?
· Working closely with the Delivery Manager of the department to steer and support the feature team from a requirements engineering point of view.
· Fulfil the prioritised requirements using agile methodologies.
· Risk management and conflict resolution.
· Collaborate with Business and IT Sub-Product Owners and colleagues across multiple products and countries.
· Understand the product and its processes from a technical and business viewpoint
· Support the Sub-IT Product Owner in creation and prioritisation of Product Backlog with business stakeholders and technical team.
· Ensure quality and timeliness of agreed deliverables
· Quality Assurance of deliverables
· Timely escalation of risks to the IT Product Owner and Delivery Manager
· Coach and mentor junior team members
· Travel as and when business requires
· Provide operational related support to the team where required
· Will be required to work closely with the Testing team to ensure quality of the product
· Works hand in hand with Agile Master and Proxy PdO in Planning and Steering Domain Cycles / Sprints
