Auto electrician work
  • Diagnose auto electrician faults
  • Do auto electrician repairs on all vehicles
  • Install auto electrical systems as required
  • Order auto electrical parts and accessories
  • The auto electrician work is done the first time right every time
  • Auto electrical repairs are done within 1 day after a fault was reported
Exercise control over equipment and workshop stock
  • Maintain equipment to be in good condition
  • Do stock checks
  • Keep the workshop clean and tidy
  • The equipment is always in good working condition
  • Weekly stock checks ensure no stock losses
  • Workshops are always clean and tidy according to specifications
Do standby duty
  • Standby duty is applicable on a rotation basis. Also, as and when required
  • Standby work executed timeously and accurately
Supervise workshop assistants
  • Give instructions to assistants
  • Exercise control over work of assistants
  • Handle discipline of assistants
  • Supervision of assistants executed effectively, with the result that assistants are functioning according to expectations
Hygiene
  • Ensure that all work areas are clean and neat and adhere to food safety standards, including chop, returns, maize offload and cleaning tower
  • All work areas are cleaned on a continuous basis
  • Work areas are always clean at end of workday/shifts
Food safety
  • Promote food safety in the company by applying and adhering to the food safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure that all food safety admin is executed accurately
  • Food safety procedures are executed accurately on a daily basis
Health and Safety
  • Promote health and safety in the company by applying and adhering to the prescribed safety rules
  • Health and safety rules are always adhered to, and no accidents occur

  • N3 Diesel mechanic
Experience
  • 3 years as diesel mechanic
Knowledge/Abilities/Skills
  • Mechanical knowledge
  • Ability to identify/diagnose vehicle problems.
  • Perseverance
  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to work under pressure
