- A first degree in Project Management, Business, Conservation Management, or a related field
- Postgraduate qualification or relevant professional certification/registration (advantageous)
- Minimum 10 years’ leadership or executive-level experience, ideally in business development, project scaling, or cross-border initiatives
- Demonstrated success in fundraising, stakeholder engagement, and financial oversight
- Proven experience leading training, development, or mentorship programs
- Exposure to or strong familiarity with biodiversity conservation principles and practices
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable operating across diverse sectors, cultures, and executive levels within Africa
- Innovative thinker with a strong drive for impact, growth, and sustainability
- Willingness to travel periodically within Africa
