- Lead, inspire, and mentor a team consisting of a social media expert, marketing interns, videographers, multimedia designers, and copywriters.
- Develop and implement a creative vision and strategy for the brand that aligns with the company's brand, objectives, and business requirements. Craft and implement innovative strategies that align with brand objectives and drive impactful results
- Coordinate with the social media expert to align creative efforts with social media strategies, ensuring consistent messaging.
- Ensuring that everything created internally and externally aligns with the brand tone and brand visual identity.
- Analyse industry trends and consumer behaviours to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
- Shape and articulate a compelling brand vision that resonates with target audiences and drives long-term growth.
- Collaborate and oversee the visual and content creation across all media, ensuring the highest standard of execution.
- Review and approve designs, artwork, videos, photography, copy and graphics developed by the team.
- Collaborate and oversee that the videography team produces visually compelling stories that align with the brand's voice and style.
- Collaborate and oversee all the content created by the copywriter ensuring that it is consistent with the brand's voice, style, and objectives.
- Collaborate and oversee the social media team to ensure that all social media posts align with the brand tone and visual identity.
- Collaborate closely with the CMO and other departments to ensure a cohesive brand message.
- Communicate effectively with all team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Clearly articulate creative concepts and rationales to stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Lead the design and execution of performance-based campaigns, focusing on metrics, results, and growth.
- Coordinate with the social media expert to optimise campaigns for social platforms.
- Use data and analytics to inform and refine creative decisions for maximum impact.
- Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and professional development opportunities to the entire creative and marketing teams.
- Foster an environment where team members feel empowered to contribute ideas and take ownership of their projects.
- Ensure creative projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop efficient processes and workflows for the creative and marketing teams.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in fields like Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Advertising, Media, Communication, or a related discipline and/or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-years' agency experience.
- Experience working on a humorous brand
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Very organised and planning-oriented regarding approaching tasks and reaching goals
- Ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a focus on mentoring and developing colleagues.
- A little cheeky in a good way (sarcastic and dry).
