Our client is looking for a Rates & Pricing Administrator to assist in analysing customer requirements, accurately estimating costs for freight and forwarding services, and to collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations.Responsibilities:Responsible in liaising with Internal Stakeholders, including commercial teamAnalyse customer inquiries and requirementsEvaluate shipment detailsCollaborate with internal teams and external partnersUtilise industry knowledge and market trendsPrepare and present detailed cost estimatesMonitor and update pricing databases and systemsCollaborate with sales and operations teamsStay updated with industry regulations, market trends, and technological advancementsKey skills:Ability to work irregular hoursWorking knowledge of Google workspace and ShipshapeTo have the ability to read and understand shipping freight and other chargesAbility to work under pressure and meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlinesStrong organisational and communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent attention to detailFast learner in internal and external computer systems and processesAbility to work with multiple key stakeholders both internal and externalQualifications:Grade 12Diploma in Shipping, Clearing and Freight Forwarding, Distribution and Logistics Business Management or related fieldA minimum of 3-years experience in Freight Forwarding and Logistics with good knowledge of general/dry cargo using various shipping methods
