We do this by disrupting traditional employment barriers – connecting ambitious talent to flexible opportunities with trusted brands.Job DescriptionOur client whose purpose and ambition are achieved through a pioneering business model is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their Marketing Services department. The successful candidate needs to be a dynamic, well rounded Talent Acquisition Specialist. The incumbent is required to partner with the business to fill current and upcoming vacancies. This is a fast-moving, diverse environment and the role provides exposure to the greater Marketing business as well as Marketing Exco. This role will be supported by an Administrator.Vacancy management
  • Writing, compiling and maintaining job specifications that accurately represent the responsibilities of the role.
  • Posting adverts on the HR system and screening applicants.
  • Providing the Line Manager with key market related insights for positions (industry research).
  • Participating in interviews with Line Managers for staff to Deputy General Manager level roles.
  • Liaising with Line Managers to ensure that the correct recruitment process is adhered to.
  • Liaising with management and candidates to set up interviews/assessments.
  • Facilitating skills tests when necessary.
  • Providing feedback to candidates.
  • Drawing up contracts and transfer letters as well as taking new employees through the documentation.
  • Partnering with the department to achieve the required transformation plan.
  • Ensuring adherence to set standards and processes.
  • Headhunting candidates for scarce skills.
  • Contributing and driving transformation commitments and strategies.
  • Providing regular vacancy updates and presentations to Exco.
Forecasting
  • Building talent pools for scarce/critical skills.
  • Liaising with Line Managers to forecast recruitment needs for the future, beyond six months.
Post hire review
  • Suggest enhancements/refinements to the process based on key learnings and insights.
  • Analyse recruitment data to identify areas of opportunity.
  • Measuring and reporting on the success of recruitment through established metrics.
Onboarding
  • Ensuring that all candidates are successfully onboarded on the system.
  • Partnering with Line Managers to design and implement an effective onboarding process for the first few weeks of joining.
  • Monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of the onboarding programme.
  • Adapting the process where required.
Administration
  • Collecting and checking HR data.
  • Administering all recruitment and on boarding tasks as needed.
  • Maintaining tracking mechanisms.
  • Drafting recruitment reports aligned to the needs of the department/s.
Qualifications
  • Atleast 5 years of experience in Recruitment, preferably in Marketing or the equivalent function.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with atleast 1 year experience in a recruitment agency.
  • You must have completed or be studying towards a tertiary qualification (NQF, level 7 equivalent).
  • Ability to position and communicate messages clearly.
  • Observant and detail orientated.
  • Have a competitive drive to work hard and perform on the job.
  • You must be convincing and have the ability to influence.
  • You must be proactive and take initiative.
  • You must have a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
