Key Requirements Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Minimum 35 years proven sales experience, ideally in construction, mining, agriculture, water supply, or industrial sectors. Knowledge of piping solutions and water infrastructure is highly advantageous. Strong understanding of sales principles, negotiation techniques, and business development strategies. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with SAGE or similar ERP systems will be an advantage. Valid drivers license and willingness to travel extensively. Skills & Competencies Strong sales and business development skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Ability to build trusted, long-term relationships with clients. Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills. Strong market analysis and commercial awareness. Ability to explain technical products in a clear, customer-focused manner. Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking skills. Performance Metrics Achievement of individual and team sales targets. Customer satisfaction and retention rates. Number of new clients onboarded. Market share growth within designated sectors. Accuracy of sales forecasts and reporting. Working Conditions & Benefits Hybrid working model: 1 day in office, 4 days on the road meeting clients. Provident fund provided (no medical aid at present). Petrol allowance included. Competitive salary package (negotiable based on current earnings) plus commission structure.
