Senior Business Analyst – Finance

• Business Analysis Planning & Monitoring:

• Identify stakeholders, plan and track business analysis activities, and estimate work accurately.
• Understand core systems, including accounting structures, rules, and calculations.
• Requirements Elicitation & Management:

• Investigate, evaluate, and document business requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, communicate requirements clearly, and obtain stakeholder sign-off.
• Requirements Analysis:

• Prioritize and structure requirements using text, diagrams, matrices, and models.
• Define assumptions, constraints, and risks, ensuring that specifications meet quality standards.
• Solution Assessment & Validation:

• Ensure that solutions meet business needs, assist the testing teams, and assess organizational readiness for implementation.
• Enterprise Analysis:

• Identify new capabilities required to meet business needs and define deliverables for project iterations.
• Life Cycle Management:

• Act as interface between business and delivery teams throughout the SDLC.

• 3-year tertiary qualification in a relevant technical, financial, or analytical field.
• Diploma in Business Analysis (e.g., FTI) or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in a formal business analysis environment.
• Strong knowledge of the finance industry and business analysis methodologies.
• Experience with scrum development processes and SQL is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Ability to facilitate, research, model, and define requirements effectively.
