Hire Resolve is partnering with a leading beverage company based in the Western Cape to assist them in finding a skilled Point of Sale Manager. The Point of Sale Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing the point-of-sale systems and operations across the company's retail locations in the beverage industry.In this role, you will oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of point-of-sale systems. You will also work closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure equipment and software are up-to-date and functioning properly. Additionally, you will train store staff on how to effectively use the POS systems, troubleshoot and resolve any issues, and maintain accurate records of sales transactions.As a Point of Sale Manager, you will stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in POS technology to identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices.Responsibilities:

Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of point-of-sale systems
Work closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure equipment and software are up-to-date and functioning properly
Train store staff on how to effectively use the POS systems
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or errors with the POS systems
Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and reconcile any discrepancies
Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Develop and implement policies and procedures for POS system usage and security
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in POS technology

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
5-10 years of experience in the FMCG industry and the Off-Premise trade specifically.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI.
Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
High numerical ability; discerns trends, patterns, and anomalies in data with probable cause and effect.
Must have the ability to retrieve, understand, and interpret data from numerous sources.
Operations & Logistics experience would be an advantage.
Project Management & experience in briefing and managing external agency partners.
Must have a valid driver's license and own transport.

Salary: R400K/yr – R500K/yr
