We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project & Engineering Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects within our client's organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The Project & Engineering Manager will also be responsible for coordinating with other departments to ensure the successful implementation of projects.Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and execute engineering projects from start to finish.
- Manage and oversee a team of engineers, providing leadership and guidance as needed.
- Develop and maintain project budgets and timelines to ensure successful completion.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project alignment with organizational goals.
- Implement and maintain project management best practices to achieve project objectives.
- Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing any issues that arise.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project status and performance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and other project partners.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers within the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Engineering Manager in a technical or engineering environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the engineering field.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in the manufacturing or construction industry is a plus.
