The company is known for its commitment to eco-friendly manufacturing and full material recycling practices.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment across the production floorConduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on high-tonnage moulding machinesDiagnose mechanical faults and perform timely corrective actionsMaintain detailed maintenance logs and repair recordsCollaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure optimal machine performanceAdhere to health, safety, and environmental standardsParticipate in shift rotations and respond to urgent maintenance requirements as neededQualifications & ExperienceMatric / Grade 12 or equivalentRed Seal Trade Test Fitter (preferred)1-3 years of relevant experience in a high-volume manufacturing or industrial settingStrong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and manualsExcellent fault-finding, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skillsGood communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a teamBenefitsCompetitive salary within the R15,000 R19,000 range, based on experience and qualificationsExposure to a high-capacity manufacturing environment with modern machineryOpportunities for growth and further skills developmentCollaborative and safety-conscious work culture
