A reputable company in the modular building industry is looking for an experienced Aircon Technician with strong technical expertise in maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing HVAC systems to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape. The successful candidate will ensure air-conditioning units operate at optimal efficiency, support stock management, and uphold high safety and quality standards.Responsibilities:Conduct proactive servicing, testing, and repairs of air-conditioner units.Manage air-conditioner stock levels, storage, and salvaging of usable spares.Ensure timely completion of refurbishment work within cost and quality objectives.Perform inspections during pre-delivery and returns, ensuring all documentation is accurate.Keep workshop and storage areas organized and compliant with housekeeping standards.Monitor compliance with statutory regulations, health and safety protocols, and PPE usage.Perform regular inspections of tools, equipment, and units to ensure safe handling and transport.Assist maintenance team with general refurbishment and maintenance tasks.Requirements:Aircon Technician qualification.Valid drivers license.Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, testing equipment, safety procedures, and electrical codes.Ability to diagnose electrical malfunctions and carry out preventive maintenance.Basic computer literacy (MS Office).Skills in planning, organizing, reporting, and effective communication.Team-oriented, able to work independently, with strong attention to detail.Proactive, solutions-driven, able to work under pressure, and confident in conflict resolution.Benefits
