Job Summary A well-established non-woven textile manufacturing company based in Hammarsdale in KZN has a vacancy for a qualified Fitter to work in their Maintenance department. Please note this is a shift position so applicants must be prepared to work night shifts. Duties include: • General machine maintenance and repairs • Repairing industrial textile machinery • Welding Applicants must meet the following criteria: • Be a fully qualified trade-tested fitter • Preferably 2-3 years experience in maintaining and repairing machinery in a manufacturing environment (textile manufacturing experience an advantage) • Proven ability to do welding • Experience repairing boilers • Demonstrate initiative and pro-activeness and good problem solving skills • Be prepared to perform shift work - day and night shifts If you are interested in joining our team please submit Applicants will be required to undergo a competency assessment.
