- Preparing pastry mise-en-place and assisting with the production of desserts, breads, and other baked goods.
- Following recipes and plating guidelines with precision to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene within the pastry section at all times.
- Assisting with stock rotation, deliveries, and correct storage of ingredients.
- Supporting senior pastry chefs in experimenting with seasonal and innovative creations.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and internal kitchen protocols.
- Culinary qualification, preferably with a pastry specialisation.
- Ideally 1–2 years’ experience in a pastry kitchen, preferably in a 4- or 5-star or fine dining environment.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for pastry arts.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
