The team consists of project, tactical, maintenance, and rewards groups, providing experience in initiatives like replatforming and integrating product with account management. You'll work closely with business stakeholders and technical peers in an agile environment that values adaptability, curiosity, and continuous learning. As a Product Data Engineer II, you'll contribute to the design and development of new systems and applications that support Capitec's product line environment. You will analyze business and system requirements, enhance data understanding, and collaborate with architects to shape solution design.What You'll Be Doing

Designing and developing the data structures required by applications/systems aligned with business needs.
Analysing data and system requirements to support product line evolution.
Collaborating with architects on solution design documentation.
Engaging with stakeholders across business and technical domains.

What We Are Looking For

4+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role, with a proven track record of delivering reliable, scalable data solutions.
Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries and work with large datasets.
Experience working in cloud environments, particularly with AWS and Snowflake.
Experience with Python is beneficial, but not mandatory for the role.
Familiarity with ETL tools and orchestration technologies.
