- Works with a team of Traffic Managers, Creative Strategist, Creation Directors, Designers, Copy writers, Ad Developers and Client servicing teams.
- Works internally with all departments within the Creative Hub, and in-market teams and externally with clients.
- Ensuring high quality copy output of Chinese copy for a high volume of assets in a timely manner.
- Edit and correct headlines, captions, and calls to action optimized for digital, social, and paid media platforms with a prime focus on Baidu, as well as content syndication for LinkedIn.
- Develop a Chinese brand guidelines following the English version to brief the translation company to follow.
- Ensure all Chinese copy for all assets follows brand guidelines.
- Ensure all Chinese assets from visual to copy are incorporating Chinese cultural nuances to drive audience relevance.
- Ensure all Chinese assets and formats are following Baidu's best practices and creative principles.
- Implement and uphold quality assurance processes to ensure a 99% accuracy rate in all copies.
- 3+ years of experience in Chinese copywriting, within a digital marketing or creative agency environment (Cantonese + Mandarin).
- Strong understanding of digital, social (particularly Baidu), and paid media content best practices.
- Exceptional attention to details, editing skills, with Chinese linguistics expertise.
- Ensuring high volume of content is delivered on time and meets quality standards. Familiarity with AI-driven content tools and automation is a plus.
- Creative Impact: Proofread and edit or write high-quality Chinese copy that drives campaign success, that is an adaptation of the approved English and not a literal translation.
- Accuracy & Quality Control: Maintain a 99% accuracy rate in all written content through rigorous quality assurance.
- Efficiency & Delivery: Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Localization & Adaptation: Ensure content resonates to Chinese markets, adhering to local nuances. Ensure creative assets are following Baidu's creative best practices.
