Our client, a respected name in the automotive retail industry, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Customer Relations Manager (CRM) to lead the after-sales and service team at their dealership in Johannesburg.This is an excellent opportunity for a high-performing individual with leadership experience in the automotive sector who is driven by customer satisfaction, team management, and business growth.Location: JohannesburgSalary: R20,000 R28,000 Basic + Commission & Incentives🩺 Benefits: Medical Aid | Provident FundMinimum Requirements:
  • Proven experience in the automotive industry, preferably in after-sales or service operations
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team of Service Advisors
  • Experience with customer bookings, service delivery, and client retention strategies
  • Ability to upsell service plans, extended warranties, and value-added products
  • Skilled in handling customer complaints, queries, and escalations professionally
  • Understanding of dealership operations and interdepartmental coordination (Sales, Parts, Service)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; brand-focused mindset
  • Ability to delegate tasks effectively and manage service workflows
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills; experience monitoring KPIs and driving improvements
Key Responsibilities:Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Service AdvisorsDrive and optimise customer bookings, service excellence, and client retentionCoordinate processes and communication between Service, Parts, and Sales departmentsUpsell service plans, extended warranties, and value-added productsManage customer complaints, follow-ups, and escalations to resolutionMaintain brand standards and act as a Brand AmbassadorEnsure efficient workflow and task delegation across the service teamMonitor key service metrics and implement continuous improvementsIdeal Candidate Profile: ONLY AUTOMOTIVE EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTEDMinimum 5 years experience in a same role as CRM in the motor industryStrong interpersonal, leadership, and conflict-resolution skillsProven success in upselling products and managing service targetsAbility to manage and streamline multi-department processesTech-savvy with working knowledge of DMS and booking systemsProfessional, customer-focused, and results-drivenWhats On Offer:Basic Salary: R20,000- R28,000Attractive commission and performance incentives🩺 Medical aid and provident fund contributionsWork with a reputable brand in the automotive spaceOpportunities for career growth and recognition
