Join our client's team as a Reservations & Sales Consultant for a luxury pre-opening lodge and help create unforgettable experiences for guests while supporting conservation efforts. This remote role offers competitive compensation of R20,000 – R30,000 based on experience.DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Reservations & Sales Consultant to manage our client's sales pipeline, reservations, and client engagement processes. You’ll play a vital role in crafting exceptional experiences for guests, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to their vision of sustainable tourism.Reservations Management:
  • Handle enquiries and manage the sales pipeline using the Reservations System (PMS, Stripe).
  • Respond promptly to client queries via email and phone.
  • Coordinate customer travel arrangements, including dietary requirements, transfers, and special requests.
  • Issue invoices and track payments.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and agents through outstanding customer care.
Sales Coordination:
  • Organize and manage FAM trips, educational sessions, and press trips.
  • Monitor sales performance against budget, providing input for strategic adjustments.
  • Conduct follow-ups on provisional bookings and post-travel engagement.
Database Management:
  • Maintain accurate records using HubSpot.
  • Content Management:
  • Update website content, including copy and images, via the Content Management System.
Minimum RequirementsQualifications & Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in business or tourism studies.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in African-related reservations and sales.
  • Proficient knowledge of South Africa as a travel destination.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and growth-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong administrative and multitasking abilities, with proficiency in Google Docs and Excel.
  • Passion for travel and environmental conservation.
