- Welcome and host guests with professionalism and warmth, ensuring every stay is memorable.
- Oversee the smooth running of guest arrivals, check-ins, and departures.
- Handle guest requests and feedback promptly and efficiently.
- Coordinate daily F&B operations, ensuring impeccable service and presentation.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain menu quality and timely service.
- Monitor stock levels, ordering, and cost controls in line with budget.
- Act as second-in-command to the Lodge Manager in designated areas.
- Assist with rostering, training, and guiding team members to uphold service standards.
- Ensure operational procedures and brand standards are consistently met.
- Maintain accurate records of guest preferences, special requests, and operational checklists.
- Support with reporting on guest satisfaction, F&B costs, and operational issues.
- Matric; hospitality qualification advantageous.
- Minimum 35 years experience in Food & Beverage or Front of House in a luxury lodge/hotel environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
- Excellent guest-relations abilities with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Ability to work under pressure in a remote, high-end environment.
- Valid RSA ID and Drivers Licence required.
