Senior Associate - Banking & Finance - Global Law Firm - Sandton

• Drafting of agreements and corporate documents.
• Managing transactions (including cross-border transactions) and engaging with borrower and lender clients and local counsel in other jurisdiction.
• Researching and advising on all aspects of South African financial services legislation and contract law (as it applies to finance transactions).
• Attending independently to matters.
• Assisting with the training of junior team members and clients, on request.
• Participating actively in the team's business development initiatives.

• LLB or equivalent.
• Admitted as an attorney of the High Court.
• 3-5 Years post qualification experience.
• Experience in corporate and commercial work.
• Ability to draft agreements.
• Ability to manage work streams on multiple transactions.
• Ability to work within and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage own time effectively.
• Ability to delegate to and work with junior professionals.
