As the Financial Manager reporting to the GM and leading a team of 3, you will be responsible for ensuring financial compliance and overseeing the preparation and management of various financial aspects, including management accounts, annual financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, compliance with regulatory requirements, audit management, and control environment adherence. Additionally, you will oversee debtors, creditors, fixed assets, and stock processes while monitoring actual vs budget spend.Other Responsibilities: * Financial Reporting: Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS and regulatory/tax reporting requirements.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring budget performance and making recommendations for cost optimization.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and performance evaluations, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and support operational requirements, forecasting cash flow needs and optimizing working capital.
Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulatory requirements, coordinating with external auditors during financial audits.
Financial Strategy: Collaborate with the Farming Business Manager to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of 3, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles advantageous.
Audit experience beneficial.
Advanced Excel skills required.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
