To achieve maximum sales performance, profitability and market expansion through execution of sales strategies withing the regions. Set and oversee regional sales and profitability targets in alignment with national strategyConsolidate area targets and monitor performance of each province/regionRetain 95% of existing businessPursue supply contract opportunities in line with strategy and approve and monitor regional supply contract opportunities and strategic bidsImprovement areas are identified and strategies implemented for added value opportunitiesImmediate action is taken on non-compliance issues Monthly/annual sales budget is set/met, area sales strategy and targets are set/managed Support Area Sales Managers in managing escalated or high-impact customer queries and complaints Monitor and guide strategic customer engagement and retention efforts Manage timely submission and review of area reports, sales forecasts, call reports, and tender approvals Consolidate and submit accurate regional reports to the management Monitor expense claims, credit card reconciliations, and item pricing lists for compliance Track and report on debtors, edit list discrepancies, and collect progress across all areas Market research is conducted in designated areas and presentations are delivered to customer as required Marketing events and activities are arranged as per Strategy Presentations are delivered to customer as requiredOpportunities are supported with point of sale material and quarterly presentation to management of market research and marketing activities in own area is done Manpower capabilities for the department are planned, selected/developedCompany HR and Disciplinary policy is adhered to Team performance is monitored/managed where necessarySales force KRAs are managed Technical direction is provided as requiredObjectives and targets are reviewed against standards
Engineering Qualification Metallurgical /Chemical At least 8 years relevant sales experience including 3 years sales management experience. Exposure in a Process Plant would be advantageous.
