Mechanical Engineer (Design)

- Be an expert in 3D CAD packages; including detailed design of industrial machines, sub-components, sheet metal design, weldments & large-scale assemblies
- Generate detailed drawings and BOM’s
- Prepare manufacturing and assembly instructions
- Be highly competent at mechanical stress and load calculations, and, implementation of FEA and simulation software
- Have substantial experience with industrial machine and structural design
- Have substantial knowledge of motors, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical power transmission
- B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Atleast 2-7 years industrial design experience
- Advanced Solid works experience
- Advanced geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Advanced knowledge of the MS Office
- Sound understanding of fabrication, boiler making, welding and precision machining
- LV electrical systems
- Enterprise PDM exposure
- FEM/FEA simulation analysis
- Engineering calculations software (Mathcad, MATLAB or similar)
