The Farm Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial and operational management of their citrus farm. This role requires strong leadership, planning, and execution skills to ensure efficient and profitable operations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement operational plans to achieve production targets.
- Oversee daily farm activities, including resource allocation, crop production, and maintenance.
- Manage budgets, procurement, and cost controls to optimise financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with agricultural best practices, quality standards, ethical practices and industry regulations.
- Lead and develop farm staff, ensuring efficiency, motivation, and adherence to policies.
- Monitor risk management, safety, and sustainability initiatives.
- Carry out any other reasonable instructions.
- Degree/Diploma in Agriculture, or a related field (preferred).
- 5–10 years of farm management experience, preferably in citrus or fruit production.
- Strong knowledge of cultivation and management, financial management, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
