Grow here.Job DescriptionHere is what you will do:

Design and planning of civil engineering infrastructure such as earthworks/grading, roads, stormwater, sewer and water across various market sectors.
The role will entail design development, design review, coordination and management of resources, ad-hoc site supervision, preparation and/or review of typical deliverables e.g. design calculations, reports, drawings, bill of quantities, technical specifications and project documentation.
Guides junior engineers/technical resources and largely performs tasks independently to complete design/project deliverables.
Mentors junior staff.
Will be required to coordinate/manage/lead small to mid-sized teams, across disciplines on a project-by-project basis, including while working on international projects.
Supports the execution of projects in accordance with AECOM Quality Management System requirements.

Here's what we're looking for:

Solid experience in the design of civil infrastructural elements (earthworks/grading, roads, stormwater, sewer and water), particularly in a multi-disciplinary project delivery environment, across all project stages
Confident with strong communication skills (written and verbal), including report writing
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Good working knowledge of ProjectWise and BIM360
Experience in the design and coordination of external wet and dry utilities will be advantangeous.
Experience in 12D Model and/or Microstation, is advantageous
Experience working in other (international) standard specifications and/or design guidelines will be advantageous.
Experience in the execution of multi-disciplinary projects through BIM
Ability to work independently or within a team environment, as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science or Engineering
8 years+ relevant experience post qualification
Professionally registered with ECSA
