Logistics Coordinator

• Coordinate transportation:
• Arranging for the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Working with transportation providers, scheduling shipments, and ensuring adherence to delivery deadlines.
• Manage inventory:
• Tracking stock levels, identify potential shortages, and ensure adequate inventory to meet production and customer needs.
• Process orders:
• Handle purchase orders, prepare shipping documents, and ensure accuracy in order fulfilment.
• Resolve shipping issues:
• Identify and resolve any problems that may arise during the transportation process, such as delays, damage, or missing shipments.
• Analyse logistics data:
• Monitoring shipment costs, delivery times, and other performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Communicate with stakeholders:
• Maintain communication with suppliers, customers, and internal and external parties to ensure smooth operations and address any issues.
• Ensure compliance:
• Adhere to all relevant regulations and safety standards.

• Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in logistics, warehouse coordination and transportation support.
• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Exposure to manufacturing or warehousing environments.
• Organizational skills:
• Managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Analytical skills:
• Analysing data and identifying areas for improvement.
• Problem-solving skills:
• Addressing and resolving issues that may arise during the logistics process.
• Communication skills:
• Communicating effectively with various stakeholders, both internally and externally.
• Computer skills:
• Proficiency in using software for order processing, inventory management, and reporting.

• R40 000 – R50 000 per month dependent on experience.
