PiketbergOur client is an internationally recognised grower, packer and exporter of citrus and grapes. The various farms and packhouses are situated across the Western Cape.The company has a vacancy for a Production Manager (Table Grapes) outside Piketberg. The position will report to the Farm Manager and is available immediately.Growth, quality, innovation, adaptability and a can-do mindset are key values of our client. An alignment with these aspects is important in appointments as every team member plays a crucial role in the business success and sustainability.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Production: Knowledge and experience of modern management and viticulture practices.
- Personnel and administration: Labour planning and management
- Financial: Cost control by focusing on productivity, Budget management
- Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification
- Ten years’ experience in table grape production and management practices
- Knowledge of sound production practices
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
- Good administrative and communication skills
- Driver’s license
