
Secretarial Compliance officer

- Fluent in Afrikaans and English (both written and spoken)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a professional services environment, preferably as a Company Secretary (COSEC)
- Relevant qualification in company secretarial practice, law, or related field will be an advantage
- Strong working knowledge of the Companies Act and Trusts Act
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience with Greatsoft software is beneficial but not mandatory
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act and Trusts Act requirements
- Maintain and manage statutory registers and records accurately
- Prepare and file statutory returns and annual compliance documents
- Assist with board meeting preparations, including agendas, minutes, and resolutions
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors as required
- Support the team with general company secretarial and administrative duties
- Use company secretarial software (e.g., Greatsoft) to manage compliance tasks (training can be provided if needed)
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in both Afrikaans and English
