Finance Manager

• Min 5 Year financial management experience (essential)

• Participate in key decisions as a member of executive management team
• Manage the various accounting departments
• Assist in formulating the company’s future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
• Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
• Interact with managers to provide support to planning and financial initiatives
• Develop financial and tax strategies in consultation with external auditors
• Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
• Develop performance measures that support the company’s strategic direction
• Ensure record systems are maintained according to generally accepted auditing standards
• Oversee the issuance of financial information & financial results
• Analyze financial statements, cash flow, cost controls and expenses to guide business leaders
• Ensure compliance to legal and regulatory requirements
• Construct and monitor reliable control systems – incl. insurance coverage
• Maintain relations with external auditors and follow through on recommendations
• Monitor cash balances and forecasts
• Arrange for debt and equity financing
• Maintain banking relationship

• Strategic planning and execution
• Knowledge of contracting, accounting, budgeting and cost control
• Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
• Ability to motivate teams to produce quality outputs within tight timeframes and manage several projects simultaneously
