Closing Date: 2025-09-10Job Type: ContractJob Level: SeniorExperience: More than 10 YearsEE/AA: NoSummaryOur client in Pretoria is recruiting for SAP Functional Consultant (SCP: APO/IBP/eSPP) (Expert) to join their team.DescriptionUnderstand the business requirements, preparing AS-IS, and TO-BE documents and get sign-off from users for functional and/or technical design document(s).Proactively propose solutions to improve the support of (new) business processes.Executing the required changes through configuration.Interact with cross functional consultants for Integration requirements.Preparing test data and documentation, Conducting Unit tests, Regression tests and System Integration security tests including recording of results.Preparing User manuals and conducting training to business process owners.Planning of go live milestones, planning, preparation and execution of migration, cutover and Go-Live as well as post Go-Live support activities.Interaction with clients through meetings, calls and emails.Support the troubleshooting, resolving and closing of Production Support tickets within defined SLA’s (Service Level Agreements).User interface transactional solutions.Analyse and scope End-user authorisation roles.Update and maintain documentation as an existing system’s functionality is changed.Execution according to the Agile Methodology and attending of all team meetings, including Stand-ups, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospectives, Sprint Planning meetings etc.Daily use of the Agile Tool Chain, as per the updates required by the respective feature team(s).Transfer business requirements into functional concepts and specifications.Minimum RequirementsQualifications/Experience:Relevant IT / Business Degree or equivalent experience.SAP Certification in SAP PP.SAP S4/Hana Certification – PP/IBP.Essential Skills Requirements:Excellent knowledge and customizing experience of the SAP PP; APO / eSPP modules – incl. Demand Planning module.Excellent knowledge of Process Chain creation and setup, BI info cubes, batch job variants, core interface integration models, custom tables, master data chains, cif enhancements and operational activities.Working experience of S4/Hana implementation.Excellent understanding of the Supply Network Planning process, i.e. flow of demand and supply through the Planning horizons from Demand Planning to Supply Network Planning.Excellent knowledge of Supply Planning in focus of - stock replenishment, stock ordering, inventory management, stock distribution/ deployment (DRP), Planning optimizers in APO /eSPP.Housekeeping, daily monitoring, batch job monitoring and queue monitoring/ post processing.Working knowledge of the integrated/cross functional supply chain modules i.e. SAP MM, SAP SD, and Master data.Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter.Advantageous Skills Requirements:Supply chain planning tools e.g. IBP, APO, eSPP.S4/Hana implementation/migration.Agile Methodology.ABAP debugging skills would be beneficial.
