Factory Manager – Johannesburg

- Oversee the daily operations of the factory to ensure timely production and delivery of products
- Manage and coordinate production schedules, workforce planning, and equipment utilization
- Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards
- Implement process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce costs
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and production staff
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and quality departments to ensure smooth operations
- Analyze production data and generate reports for senior management
- Ensure proper maintenance of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Factory or Plant Manager role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control
- Proficient in production management software and MS Office Suite
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
