Main Duties and responsibilitiesManage all accounting transactionsPrepare budget forecasts.Publish financial statements on time.Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings including statutory submissions.Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.Ensure timely bank payments.Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.Report on the companys financial health and liquidity.Audit financial transactions and documents.Comply with financial policies and regulations.Implement and manage controls!Manage the fixed asset register.Key working relationshipsThis position will work with management but will also be expected to work under their own initiative. This position requires excellent communication skills and maintenance of relationships with all staff within the organization, and customersQualification:Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in accounting or equivalentCompleted Articles will be advantageous.
Minimum Requirement
5 years or more experience in an Accountant Role.Excellent knowledge of Accounting regulations and procedures, including the GeneralAccepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Excellent in financial record keeping and filling systems.
