Job SummaryOur client is looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Control Officer to join their dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities meet established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to identify and resolve quality issues promptly, contributing to the successful delivery of high-standard projects.Minimum requirements:

Valid driver's license (Code 8 +PDP)
Fluent in Afrikaans and English (Write, read and speak)
Reliable transport
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Civil Construction and/or solar renewable energy projects
Strong knowledge with Quality Control documentation systems and standards (ISO 9001)
Proficient in MS Office

Required skills:

Ability to read construction drawings
Excellent communication skills
Excellent reporting skills
Excellent problem-solving skills

Key responsibilities:

Prepare quality documentation, liaise with Project Managers to address quality issues
Conduct root cause analyses and implement preventative measures for recurring issues
Support compliance with Health and Safety Executive (HSE) standards

Remuneration:R 20 000 - R 30 000 Cost to Company, depending on experience + Company vehicle, R 4 000 food allowance and accommodationWorking hours:Monday to Friday: 07:00 - 17:00Saturday: 07:00 - 13:00

Candidates who are not located in De Aar will be able to go home on pay weekends
