Junior Buyer/ Procurement Officer

• Responsible for purchasing various goods including machinery, equipment, raw materials, and/or other supplies for internal consumption
• Obtaining and negotiating prices, delivery, terms, and sources of supply following specified policies and procedures
• Ensure and maintain daily outputs
• Monitor supplier performance with regard to delivery, quality, and quantity
• Process internal requisitions for orders
• Expediting orders, following up with suppliers
• To report any urgent issues regarding stock levels and supply issues
• To keep a good communication path between suppliers, customers, production, and management
• Sourcing of current and new products, negotiating pricing
• Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports, and price lists
• Communicate with intercompany divisions regarding stock requirements and communicate with the relevant departments
• Administer contract performance, including receipt, and delivery
• Comply with all Company processes and procedures, regulations, and standards
• Use computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, word-processing, calendars, e-mail, and database software in performing work assignments and providing reports
