We're the global leader in providing energy solutions that help businesses grow and communities thrive.We work as a team and we’re proud of the difference we make to customers, to local communities, and towards a sustainable future for the world.We’re looking for Senior Contracts Manager - South and East Africa will lead the full end-to-end contract lifecycle from bid to close-out, ensuring commercial value delivery, risk mitigation, and governance across complex energy and infrastructure projectsWhy Aggreko?Position will be based in South AfricaCompetitive compensation packageIndustry-leading benefit plans including medical insuranceContinuous training and development with career growth opportunitiesSafety-focused cultureWhat you’ll do:Contract Lifecycle OwnershipLead the end-to-end contract lifecycle, from tender and proposal development through to contract execution, renewal, and close-outCollaborate with legal, commercial, technical, and finance teams to structure contracts that are clear, enforceable, and commercially soundDraft, review, and manage the contract summary document, including all updates, addenda, and key obligationsDefine clear RACI matrices for each stage of the contract, ensuring seamless transition from pre-award to operationsTrack and enforce performance obligations, milestones, and commercial triggers throughout the contract termLead structured post-contract reviews to capture lessons learned and inform future contract strategiesOperational Execution & MonitoringOwn the Project Review Pack, providing timely insights on contract health, risks, and performanceEnsure accurate billing, revenue capture, and invoicing tied to contractual T&Cs (Capacity, O&M, Energy)Monitor adherence to contractual commitments from all parties and flag deviations earlySupport project teams in execution planning and scope governanceDrive visibility on contract margins and value leakage throughout executionGovernance, Risk & Dispute ManagementIdentify, quantify, and track contractual risks proactively from onboarding through deliveryAct as a key stakeholder in resolving disputes and claims, working closely with legal and leadershipEnsure documentation control and compliance with audit readiness across the lifecycleLead structured processes for change orders, recharges, contract renewals, and expansionsContinuous ImprovementChampion continuous process optimization in contract management workflowsBuild and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and standard clauses aligned with governance frameworksCoach commercial and project teams on contract awareness and execution best practicesYou’ll have the following skills and experience:EducationBachelor’s degree in law, Engineering. Holder of both degrees will be factored for selectionContract management certifications (e.g., CCM, WorldCC) are preferredExperience+8 years of experience in contract management across Energy, O&G sectorsProven track record in managing complex contracts end-to-end: from proposal stage to final account close-outStrong exposure to cross-functional collaboration in project-based environmentsCore CompetenciesStrong legal and commercial acumenStrategic mindset with attention to lifecycle performanceSkilled in risk identification and de-risking strategiesHigh accuracy and problem-solving orientationStakeholder influence and cross-border coordinationSystems proficiency in contract management and reporting toolsEnglish proficiency is required, French is a plusFind out more and apply now.Bring your energy.
