Your duties include maintaining engineering procedures, working with sales teams, and conducting presentations to promote a new product to customers at the beginning of the sales cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth technical consultations with customers to understand their needs and challenges.
- Design and present customized solutions, tailoring them to specific industry verticals and compliance requirements.
- Develop and deliver engaging product demonstrations and proof-of-concept (PoC) deployments.
- Assist with proposal development and technical aspects of customer bids.
- Create compelling technical presentations and collateral materials.
- Collaborate with the sales team and other technical resources to ensure successful customer engagements and deployments.
- Stay up to date on the latest products, technologies, and industry trends in our portfolio.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and resellers.
- Provide post-sales technical support and training to customers.
- Implement and maintain security controls.
- Identify and solve potential and actual security problems.
- Assess the current situation, evaluating trends and anticipating security requirements.
- Essential:
- 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales or technical engineering role within the IT industry with focus on technical implementations, solution design, solution architecture and sales engineering or consulting.
- Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and experience in engineering, information systems, or business administration.
- Proven technology skills, outstanding interpersonal abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail, plus analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

- Willingness to travel
- Strong understanding of network security concepts and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint security, secure web gateways (SWGs), and VPNs.
- Proven ability to translate technical requirements into effective solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and demonstration skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach.
- Hands-on experience analyzing high volumes of logs, network data and other attack artifacts.
- Proficiency with antivirus and security software.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning solutions.
- Desirable:
- Experience in crafting Digital transformation solutions with emphasis on Integration Buses, API gateway technology, Business process management solutions, Augmented Reality and Remote connectivity solutions.
- Experience with other leading cybersecurity vendors, such as Palo Alto Networks or Cisco.
- Cloud security expertise, including Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Experience with security incident response and threat hunting.
- Experience with TIBCO solutions or similar.
- Experience with TeamViewer Tensor and Frontline solutions.
- Experience with ERP and CRM solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Fortinet Security Fabric portfolio, including FortiGate next-generation firewalls, FortiSandbox sandboxing solution, FortiSIEM security information and event management (SIEM), and FortiEDR endpoint detection and response (EDR).
- Minimum of one relevant Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) certification, preferably NSE 4 or higher.
- Certain product specific training will be offered for technologies where the candidate has similar experience, but on different product suites. This will not always be the case – the candidate will be expected to occasionally self-learn new technologies.
