Food Production Manager

• Leading and managing the production team to achieve production targets and quality standards
• Developing and implementing production schedules and procedures to optimize efficiency
• Monitoring production processes to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices
• Managing inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing waste
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance, to resolve production issues and drive continuous improvement
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including HACCP and GMP
• Training and developing production staff to enhance their skills and capabilities
• Overseeing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime
• Analyzing production data and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Participating in the development of annual budgets and managing production costs

• A Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or a related field
• Previous experience in a production management role within the food industry
• Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Proven ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends, as needed
