This includes making the necessary adjustments and doing the necessary sample testing to ensure machines meet the required specifications and quality standards required to meet the production output. Must be able to work shifts and work overtime or extended hours when required.Qualifications:Grade 12/N3 (Maths & English)Injection Moulding Machine Setting certificateExperience and Skills2-3 years of CNC Machine setting and programming experience3 years of Injection Moulding Machine Setting experienceShift Leader ExperienceAbility to communicate, read and write in English (pass company entry test)Computer literateKey Results Areas:Machine Setting: Set up and coordinate injection moulding machines and robots, ensuring efficient operations.Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet required quality standards, including compliance with Master samples.First-Off and Last-Off Checks: Perform quality control checks on initial and final samples, including mould clamping.Troubleshooting: Take charge during machine stoppages or tool breakdowns, collaborating with the production manager to implement corrective actions or reschedule production.Loss Control: Implement and maintain measures to minimise loss, time inefficiencies, theft, and damage to machinery and company property.Mould Management: Assist in replacing or installing new moulds in the machine and mixing material when necessary.Delivery Planning: Assist in planning and coordinating deliveries as needed.Safety and Reporting: Ensure staff safety by maintaining machine safety devices, adhering to safety rules, using Personal Protective Equipment, practising safe housekeeping, and promptly reporting incidents and accidents.
