PRODUCTION MANAGER – GRAPES

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

• Manages irrigation programmes
• Manages fertilizer programmes
• Manages pest control programmes
• Manages weed and fungus control programmes
• Inputs into costs and budgets – have knowledge of prices and quantities
• Estimates and schedules labour
• Monitors use of and knows how to use farming equipment and machinery
• Supervises all steps of the production process including planting, fertilizing, harvesting and packing
• Supervises, checks and corrects work
• Reads and plans work programmes
• Manages time and attendance
• Issues verbal and written instructions to production labour teams
• Manages staff/team
