Your role will be crucial in creating human-centred, commercially relevant learning experiences that drive our strategic goals.Job Responsibilities
  • Ownership of creative output across all digital channels
  • Interpret internal briefs
  • Inform design on new and future design/retail trends across all digital channels
  • Influence user experience and user interface within the design process
  • Work collaboratively with key team members to deliver high quality work for our clients
  • Work with a Senior Designer to inspire creative output, motivate on current and future trends, streamlining work processes
  • Keep up to date with current and emerging design trends and technologies
  • Provide timings based on scope of work
  • Instructional design of learning interventions.
  • Design for digital learning
  • Provide input to enhance processes that will improve the functioning of stakeholders' businesses.
  • Determine the scope of work, including deliverables and timeframes, and conduct needs analysis.
  • Meet required business needs by engaging with business and determining the preferred method/medium of learning transfer.
  • Deliver on required learning intervention and create implementation plan/learning proposal, obtaining sign off.
  • Determine graphical and other information to be obtained from stakeholders.
  • Ensure learning interventions are appropriately positioned.
  • Guide the decision if the material will be developed in-house or outsourced

  • Generate creative ideas based on data gathered on best practices, performance of competitors, data from clients, employees or subject matter experts and the research of new technologies.
  • Ensure services are delivered within quality requirements.
  • Minimise cost and duplication.
  • Ensure learning implementation plan is created in cost effective manner and meets financial requirements.
  • Meet financial requirements by ensuring training medium is designed in cost effective manner.
  • Evaluate learning solutions/programs for efficiency and value-add.
  • Network with relevant stakeholders.
  • Build professional relationships and meet client needs.
  • Understand and embrace the Nedbank vision and values, leading by example. Improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective ways to operate and adding value to Nedbank.
  • Support the achievement of the business strategy, objectives and values by reviewing Nedbank and Business Unit Plan and by ensuring delivered systems, process, services and solutions are aligned.
  • Enable upskilling and required corrective action by sharing knowledge and industry trends with team and stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of developments in field of expertise, ensuring personal and professional growth.
  • Contribute to a culture of transformation by participating in Nedbank culture building initiatives, business strategy, and CSI.
Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
Preferred QualificationDegree or Diploma in design / visual communicationMinimum Experience Level5+ years of extensive experience in design platforms, instructional design and learning technologies
Video and animation tools
Creation of digital elements
Storyboard generation
Sound knowledge of graphic applications and animation principles
Adobe Creative Suite (preferable)Technical / Professional Knowledge
