Job DescriptionEssence of the job:Senior Electrical Engineer: Transmission Substations.Qualification:BSc/ Beng/ BTech in Electrical EngineeringProfessionally registered with ECSA (PrEng or PrTech) or eligible for professional registration.Minimum Requirements:At least 8 years of experience in the following:Procurement of electrical plants and equipment for large infrastructure projects.Sound experience in Electrical Transmission Design Practices.Substation construction and installation.HV and EHV Design/ Transmission Design.Experience in commissioning electrical substations will be advantageous.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.Computer proficiency, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD/ MicroStation, CDEGS/ ETAP/ Digsilent and related Substation Software.Able to use initiative and solve problems through analytical thinking.Able to work with cross-regional teams with a strong focus on delivering excellence.
