Job PurposeThe Internal Sales Representative will support the FMCG sales team by managing customer relationships, processing orders, coordinating activations and promotions, and ensuring smooth execution of sales campaigns. This role requires strong product knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to drive brand visibility through activations and in-store promotions.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle customer queries, sales orders, and product information requests.Prepare and follow up on quotations, orders, and invoices.Coordinate and execute in-store activations, promotions, and product launches.Liaise with marketing teams to ensure promotional campaigns are effectively rolled out.Monitor competitor activities and provide feedback on market trends.Ensure product availability and stock management in line with sales requirements.Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, wholesalers, and distributors.Track activations and sales performance, compiling reports for management.Support external sales reps with client accounts and promotional execution.Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell within the FMCG portfolio.RequirementsMatric / Grade 12 (a sales or marketing qualification is an advantage).Previous experience in FMCG, sales, activations, or promotions is essential.Strong organizational and planning skills, especially with event/activation coordination.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Computer literacy (MS Office, CRM systems).Ability to multitask in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.Customer-focused with a proactive, solution-driven mindset.Key CompetenciesStrong sales and negotiation skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Energetic, creative, and hands-on with activations.Team player with the ability to work independently.Results-driven with attention to detail.
