Are You the IT Superhero Who Keeps Retail Running?We’re looking for an IT Technician who thrives in the fast-paced, high-pressure world of retail technology. If you know your way around POS systems as well as Microsoft 365, and can keep stores running smoothly under pressure, this is your stage.The role involves managing helpdesk tickets, ensuring timely and efficient resolutions, logging service requests, and maintaining accurate incident records. The Technician will also be responsible for IT administrative functions, including procurement, CAPEX management, billing, and asset tracking, while ensuring a high standard of customer service delivery.You’ll be the first point of contact for all IT issues, both for the retail stores as well as Head Office, from keeping tills talking to networks, to securing systems, to making sure stock and sales data flows without a glitch.What You’ll Do:
Support and maintain Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and retail technology across the business.
Be the first responder for all IT incidents - hardware, software, and network - fixing issues quickly or escalating when needed.
Manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and endpoint security (SentinelOne EDR/XDR) including user management, licensing and troubleshooting.
Support hybrid Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Outlook environments.
Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, scanners, phones and networking gear.
Support IP telephony systems (both on-premises PABX and cloud-based).
Keep IT assets and storerooms organised and documented.
Handle IT admin: procurement, Capex, billing, and vendor liaison.
Manage and resolve tickets in Freshservice within SLA deadlines.
Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and store rollouts.
What We’re Looking For:
Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or similar (or equivalent experience).
2+ years in IT support, ideally in a retail / POS environment.
Strong hands-on knowledge of POS systems and peripherals.
Microsoft 365 and Active Directory skills.
Experience with ticketing systems (Freshservice a plus).
Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, N+, Microsoft 365 Certified) - ITIL is a plus.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
